Products and Ordering Information

We have a variety of cuts of beef, pork and lamb. Our beef is hung for 2 weeks to assure tenderness. All of our chops and steaks come 2 to a pack and our roasts average 4 lbs. Our meat is vacuum sealed for longer freezer life (although we bet you will eat this meat quickly!). We use a certified organic butcher who uses all natural ingredients in his sausages and uses a natural smoking process for hams, steaks and bacon. All of our smoked meats are free of nitrates and nitrites. You may notice that because our bacon and the hams are smoked naturally, they have a different color than grocery store smoked meats.

We do not ship our meat, but there are three convenient ways to order meat from our farm:

After you place your order, we will send you an email confirmation . After we have received your payment, we’ll send you another email that your order is ready for pick-up. You can pick your meat up anytime at your convenience from our farm’s freezer.

Or, for a $50 minimum order, we will deliver your meat to Greenstar Co-Op in Ithaca, NY. Please indicate on the order form, if you prefer to have your meat delivered to Greenstar and we will send you an email confirmation of the delivery date. Our current delivery day is the first Thursday of every month.

Finally, you can join our meat csa and receive a variety of cuts of grassfed meat each month. CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture”. The “community” or the customer, pays the farmer up-front for a seasonal variety of product. ZuZu’s Petals CSA runs quarterly, and we offer 3 sizes . The 2 person share is $225/quarter, the 4 person share is $300/quarter, and the large family is $500/quarter. Each month’s bounty of meat includes a delicious variety of cuts of beef, pork and lamb. During the summer months, the share will include more grilling meats, such as steaks and chops. During the winter months you will enjoy more roasts and stew meats. Each month’s share varies, but in general, depending on appetites and creativity with leftovers, there are between 8-12 meat meals each month. We will include recipes and dog bones and eggs when available.
